About this title.

An excellent resource to increase students' general knowledge about New Zealand and develop research skills. Activities are presented in a variety of ways; some have multi-choice or match a statement to an answer; there are also crosswords etc. Answers are also given. Each page features a letter of the alphabet with questions and research activities which relate to a New Zealand theme eg animals, birds, buildings, Maori place names, prime ministers, just to name a few of the topics. To give some examples - the letter E looks at the marine environment; the letter D looks at dates; historical, political, scientific, health, welfare, sporting, writers, and agricultural; R is for rivers.
