The Reading with Purpose series is designed to complement a language programme through the use of interesting themes and activities. The series aims to encourage students to think beyond application, knowledge and understanding through creating, analysing, synthesising and evaluating information.

Each theme contains a non-fiction reader and three or four accompanying worksheets to consolidate students' understanding of the text as well as providing opportunities for developing critical thinking skills.
