'A Girl from Glen Innes'; the story of a Burmese teenager. This CD and unit of study, made in 2010, follows Tinmama Oo who arrives in Auckland as a 13-year-old refugee and the subsequent years until she becomes a New Zealand citizen. It explores aspects of being a refugee in New Zealand (for other refugees as well as herself), what it was like back in the country from which she fled, adapting to life in her new country, and the opportunities for her future.
