About this title.
An Online Healthy Thinking Coaching Course consists of 6 modules and it takes between 2 and 4 hours to complete working individually and independently. However the Online Coaching Course does not need to be completed all at once, it can be completed in several sessions as time allows. The online course covers:
1. The evolution and role of emotions and attitudes – your personal emotional state is measured and a readout given.
2. The role of unhealthy emotions and attitudes in stress and ill health; their link to depression, pathological anxiety and addiction.
3. What sets emotions off (triggers them).
4. Emotional self-management - alarm emotions – good alarms and false alarms – the unhealthy affect of ‘false alarm’ emotions
5. Using emotional algebra to deactivate unhealthy emotions - substituting alternative thoughts
6. How to instantly recognise unhealthy emotions as they occur and bypass their emotional shocks with cognitive switches
7. Identifying the personal attitudes that create our thoughts - The Attitide Porfile psychometric test contained within the course identifies your current attitude mix and supplies personalised remediation approaches you can apply to yourself to change unhealthy attitudes to healthier attitudes. A 16 page personal report is instantly generated when you complete the test and transmitted to you as a printable PDF
8. Transforming personal unhealthy attitudes such as The Demander, The Justifier etc into healthy thinking profiles such as The Explorer, or The Statistician so that the thoughts you create in response to triggers are generated from a better Attitude source.
9. Diary-based self awareness and treatment strategy using a simplified mix of proven Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy approaches.
10. The value and means of spreading Healthy Thinking to those around you by creating and maintaining a Healthy Thinking organisation.
The online course also contains an online secure diary where you are invited to record your progress towards changing your unhealthy thinking habits.
The course remains open to you for a year after enrolment so you can use and reuse it intensively initially then revisit as often as you need to for revision and recording over time, helping you to cement in the changes that will make you a Healthy Thinker for life! You can even redo the tests to chart the changes in your attitudes and emotional state.
A login is for one person and is completed individually and independently of others. Multiple logins can be purchased so people across an organisation can become Healthy Thinkers, sharing a common language and behavior of Healthy Thinking.
