Activities to promote or consolidate a comprehensive understanding of the numbers 1-20; such as one-to-one correspondence, identifying numbers in different groupings arrangements and arrays etc. A simple format allows students to work independently or in small groups, while extension games consolidate counting and number recognition skills informally. Where appropriate asessment indicators have been included to assist student progress.
