Introductory pages give step-by-step instructions, accompanied by diagrams/screenshots for using the programmes, followed by the activities (which have well detailed teachers notes) which encourage students to learn new skills and be creative. Plenty of resources are also listed at the back of the book to support the lessons and to challenge students in more tasks. Another book in a similar vein is Multimedia in the Classroom which uses software usually readily available on most computers, but tackles tasks that are purely computer based. Suitable for all ages.
