About this title.

The activities in this ESOL resource encourage students to talk about, practise and become familiar with New Zealand ways of getting health help. Ringing to make an appointment, what to say, how to fill in a form, what will the forms look like, getting a prescription filled, reading the label on the bottle or packet, when do you go to the doctor and when is it an emergency are covered in this resource. It also encourages students to talk and listen and touches on mental, emotional and spiritual health as well. Suitable for ages 11 to adult.
