About this title.

Developing English Skills Through Themes: Our World provides students with the opportunity to explore seven captivating and important topics. The activity sheets encourage students to create a range of different text types to help consolidate their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Some activities in the book include writing a poem from a doctor's point of view who is working in the Antarctic, making an Antarctic animal mobile, creating a children's book about dinosaurs and announcing the arrival of a natural disaster on the radio. The activities can be completed on a number of levels to allow students to succeed and increase their self-esteem. Possible answers are provided at the back of the book.
